  1. OREGANO OIL

This seemingly magical oil was first recommended to Rachel a few years ago when she was sick with an awful cold. She was skeptical at first it would do anything, but was flying to Nova Scotia later that week and didn’t want to be sick during her vacation. She took it two days before her flight (about 10 drops in a shot glass of water, 3 times a day) and was feeling back to her usual self by the time she had to leave. Since this, she recommends it to everyone!

Oregano oil has many other amazing health benefits including helping fight bacterial and fungal infections, inflammation, menstrual cramps, and much more.

There are many ways you can consume oregano oil, however, our preferred methods are diluting it in water (as mentioned above) or simply dropping it under your tongue. You can also buy in capsule form!

4. “ORGANIC COLD 911” FROM DAVID’S TEA

Eucalyptus and orange have long been known as natural cold remedies, which is why David’s Tea blended the two healers along with peppermint, juniper berries, and a hint of apple to create an incredibly soothing tea for when you’re feeling your worst.

Cold 911 can be enjoyed hot or cold (we recommend drinking it hot). While you’re preparing the drink the steam and aroma from the steeping liquid will instantly help your sinus’ clear!

5. HAND SANITIZER

This item isn’t a remedy but it will definitely help prevent illness!

Hand sanitizer isn’t a replacement for regular hand washing but during cold & flu season it can help kill illness-causing bacteria on the go. Public transit, ATM keypads and escalator rails are notorious for carrying the cold and flu virus, always wash or sanitize after touching any of surfaces!

We recommend trying Dr. Bronner's Hand Sanitizer, which is cruelty-free and has a calming lavender scent!

Get it here for $7.49: https://well.ca/products/dr-bronners-organic-hand-sanitizer_95518.html?gclid=CjwKCAiAt4rfBRBKEiwAC678KVCQoOC1oTxz4HoIMf-b94Cd9eHXwAmVQ8iJr6LWucYYDDflDPsvVxoCDvkQAvD_BwE
